<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho was the book that truly began my entire spiritual journey. I read this book in middle school and didn't realize the affect it would have on me at the time. It opened my mind to possibilities. It made me see that anything is possible, to trust your gut, and follow your heart. I re-read this book whenever I began my spiritual journey and laughed at how blind I was to the truth of our world.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - The next book you should read if you’re beginning your manifesting journey is The Astonishing Power of Emotions by Esther & Jerry Hicks. This is one we talk about specifically in our podcast, but it helps immensely. You’re not supposed to trick your mind into being positive. You’re supposed to upgrade your thoughts that feel better to then help you feel positive. In The Astonishing Power of Emotions, Abraham shares a scale of emotions, a ladder even. They help you climb the ladder to choosing and feeling better emotions. They provide examples and you can flip to the page with the emotion you're thinking and there are thoughts that can raise your vibration to help you move away from whatever negative emotion you’re experiencing.</image:title>
<image:caption>You can find this used for $2 or $3, or new for $11</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - I love this book, E Squared by Pam Grout. Grout gives 9 experiments you can try to test your manifesting capabilities. This was just a fun, easy read and delivers immediate proof that thoughts create things. It is good if you are testing the waters or just want to see some experiments with what you can do with your mind!</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - The Millionaire Course by Marc Allen is another that we talk about in our podcast. It is a must have for any manifesting library. This book is even better if you own a small company because he goes over the exact details of how he runs his company and actually pays his employees what they are worth, all the while making tons of money himself. It can get repetitive, but repetition is good with manifesting because your brain is being rewired for success.</image:title>
<image:caption>You can find this for around $16 but I’m telling you, I’ve bought 3 copies of this book for friends and family. It’s amazing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain is another great addition to your manifesting library. This book is better suited for those who have a sharp mental imagery/minds eye. If you can’t imagine worlds while you read, I do not recommend this book. But if you can see images as you read words, go for this! It’s about exactly what it’s called, using your imagination to begin manifesting!</image:title>
<image:caption>You can find this for around $10. I think I purchased this because Marc Allen referenced it in his book. Not so sure.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Manifesting (and a link to a podcast) - Infinite Possibilities written by Mike Dooley is a really good one to add to the collection for the more advanced person. This book focuses on the idea beyond thoughts, the beliefs that we have towards things that we may not be aware of. Your beliefs in money, in work, in life can prevent you from manifesting things. You have to go beyond your thoughts to truly change your beliefs to then see change in your reality. I’ve heard he has tons of other great books that are less hard to follow, but I haven’t read them so I’m not sure. I say less hard to follow because he can get repetitive and heavy haha! But it’s great. I also have signed up for his “Notes From the Universe” daily emails and enjoy those little reminders as well :)</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Books for Learning the Tarot - My favorite book ever. This is my ultimate go-to. This is the book that I have read multiple times. This one lives in my nightstand and it’s sitting next to me as a “You go girl” inspiration. This is the book that I pick up randomly when I want to read about the history and symbolism that appears on the Tarot cards is Rachel Pollack’s Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom. Rachel Pollack is my favorite Tarotist, hands down. Her books give great history of the cards and what all of the symbolism on the cards are. Then, she slightly touches on the meanings of the cards because she believes that you are supposed to build your own interpretations while using the original meaning as a guideline. Her interpretations seem to dance around the card, weaving a story through all of the elements and history that then connects to an overall meaning that the reader can expand on in his/her/their own intuitive way overtime. It’s the best.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Books for Learning the Tarot - Rachel Pollack has another book, that I also love, called Tarot Wisdom: Spiritual Teachings and Deeper Meanings. It’s another fantastic book. It’s bigger than the other, more like textbook style that the pages are now mostly pinks, yellows, and oranges from my highlighters over the years. This one goes more into detail about the Court Cards, which I appreciate, and also goes into details about what the cards could mean when pulled during certain readings.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Books for Learning the Tarot - I’m a fan of Melissa Cynova’s Kitchen Table Tarot. What I like about this book is that she spends a lot of time talking about her spreads, her past readings, and what the cards say to her while she reads them. I like her voice; it’s clear she knows what she’s talking about. She writes as if it’s transcribed from a podcast or if I’m sitting there at her kitchen table. It’s very down to earth, yet informative. It’s excellent.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Marcella’s Favorite Things: Books for Learning the Tarot - Another book I would recommend is Modern Tarot by Michelle Tea. I like this book because it feels very nomadic. Like, I slightly wish I lived the life she has lived (similar to how I felt when I read Jen Sincero’s books). I also like this book because with each meaning of each card, she includes a story that helps remind her of how that card performed in her own life. I think this would be helpful to then mirror in our own writing. In our own Tarot journal, we could keep a log of memories for when that card was most active in our life as well. I found that this book was more witchy than I am and I haven’t used any of the “spells” that she has for each card. Though that was interesting to read, regardless.</image:title>

<image:title>Blog - Finding Your Passion - What is passion and how can you find it? We all get in slumps. The kind of slump where you hardly have any fire or motivation left and you feel like being lazy sloth is the only option. But if you find your passion, you find your fire, you find your fuel. A card that I believe represents new-found passion in the Tarot is the Ace of Wands. The Ace almost always indicates “a new something” in your life, the exact “something” depends on the suit. The Wand suit in the Tarot has the elemental energy of fire. It’s passion, excitement, it’s fast-moving energy. So the Ace of wands represents new energy, new life, new ideas, a new passion.</image:title>

<image:title>Testimonials - I reached out to Marcella on a bit of a whim. I saw her post in a Facebook group, and something told me I needed to reach out to her. I don't get these feelings often, and so when I do, I try to follow them. I've only ever had my cards read once, so this by no means is a norm for me. I needed closure from my last relationship, and she REALLY dug in for me. I had to read the e-mail several times to fully process all of the insight she gave me. Her reading was spot on. It gave me exactly what I needed to put the relationship to rest. I'm so very grateful! I definitely plan on coming to her again! Thanks Marcella!!</image:title>

<image:title>Home - “A Tarot reading actually reaches beyond time, bringing out the true pattern that includes past and future. The random pattern of the cards leads us to bypass the limitations of consciousness. And yet that limited consciousness must interpret the reading. This is one of the great teachings of the Tarot, and ultimately one of the reasons we do readings — not just to find out information, or seek guidance or self-knowledge (all of which are important) but also to demonstrate to ourselves that the universe is not just broken pieces. Things connect.”</image:title>
